Pilates Zoom Online Classes

Pilates from the comfort of your own home

From the comfort of your own home, you can participate in one or more of my Live Zoom online classes, which I am currently running 3 times a week (see class schedule).

I teach from my phone and observe from my laptop, enabling me to keep a check on everyone.

Again, I like to create a friendly atmosphere by getting to know my new class members. Before the

sessions start, class members often like to chat, but of course you can stay anonymous or on mute until the class starts.

If you are a complete beginner, I would highly recommend you book on a Beginners Induction session with me, either on-line or in your own home. There may be occasions where I will take small group induction sessions in a hall or online if there is more than one new beginner.

Pilates Mat Work Community Classes

Feel the benefits immediately

In each session, you'll be taken through a series of Pilates exercises, given progressions and modifications where necessary from the easiest to the more challenging. So no matter what level of experience you are at, you can benefit and see improvements from my sessions.
Classes are friendly and fun, but with a lot of emphasis on the mind / body connection, so that your focus of attention is on your body, breathing and precision of movement. I like to create a relaxing atmosphere so members can feel comfortable and focussed.

Beginner Inductions private sessions

Learn the fundamentals of Pilates before joining a group class

Before embarking on your Pilates journey, it is important to understand the fundamental principles of Pilates before you start.
In the induction session you will learn the Alignment of the Body; the Lateral Thoracic Breathing Technique and how to active the core muscles of the body.
You will also get the opportunity to practice some of the more simple exercises that form the foundation of a lot of the more challenging work we do in a class situation.

Client Testimonials

Sue is an amazingly lovely person - ideally suited to teaching Pilates as she is calm, patient and enthusiastic with a great sense of humour. She is always encouraging and never judgemental and helps you to get the best out of the session for yourself. She encourages you to gently push yourself to achieve more for your own well-being.  Personally I need the gentle discipline of a class to encourage me to do the things that are good for me, but which are not my favourite exercises - in this way I get a good balance and always end a session feeling really relaxed and good and like I have spent some quality time on myself.  Doing Pilates with Sue really helps me to look after my body - to keep balanced, healthy and flexible - not only in body but also in mind.  The Mind/body connection of Pilates and the style in which Sue delivers it are perfect for me and I can't endorse her sessions highly enough.  Give it a go and you'll see what I mean!
