A Bit About Me
Hi, my name is Sue and I’m a certified Pilates Teacher of 15 years and have been in the Health/Fitness and Wellness industry for over 30 years. My passion is to help people feel better about themselves and their body's. Not to compare, but to embrace what they have and to improve on what they have with a step by step approach offering progressions to each exercise that they can work towards in each session.
My Pilates journey started 15 years ago when I tore my meniscus in my knee during a high intensity aerobathon. After having surgery to repair the tear and not being able to walk properly and return to life as I knew it, I decided to go to my local gym for private sessions. I was told by my physio that I needed to strengthen my thighs but also as importantly my core. I then found a good Pilates teacher and booked several private sessions until I was able to drive and attend group classes. I completely feel in love with the practice and changed my direction from teaching hard core, high impact aerobic classes to teaching group Pilates classes in the community and I have never looked back. I trained with Pilates Training Solutions based in Farnham a reputatble Pilates training provider.
I love what I do and love the people I work with.
I run community-based classes in the Woking and Guildford areas for men and women of all ages and abilities.
Along with my dog Dillon who comes to most of my classes, my aim is to create a friendly atmosphere so that everyone feels comfortable and not intimidated.
I am also open to feedback to continuously improve the content of my classes.
